  • Provision of legal services to a local developer in the development and sale of multi-dwelling residential units within the suburb of Kileleshwa, Nairobi worth USD $ 9,200,000.
  • Provision of legal services to a leading aircraft engine manufacturing company in the licensing of commercial space to set up their local office at the Wilson Airport, and general legal advice on matters touching on their business in Kenya.
  • Representing several individual clients in their leasing of commercial property and renting of residential properties.
  • Representing a listed entity in the leasing and licensing of commercial units in one of its asset properties - a shopping complex located in Donholm, Nairobi - and providing general and specific legal support in these matters.
  • Representing several individual clients in their acquisition and disposal of real estate property in parts of Nairobi County, Machakos County, Kiambu County, Uasin Gishu County and Kisumu County.
  • Part of the team representing a client in the finalization of the formalities as outlined in the settlement agreement (being a product of the consent reached through arbitration proceedings settling a dispute), which include the payment of the settlement amount, and procurement of the requisite documents to be registered at the relevant government registries.
  • Represented a high-net-worth client in the purchase of over 20 residential units in four separate developments located in up-market Nairobi. Representing the same client in the sales of some of these residential units.
  • Part of the team that handled the real estate due diligence in the transaction for the acquisition of 100% interest in an LLP by a listed entity which was purchased by a capital injection of US$ 8,500,000.
  • Represented a landlord in the leasing and licensing of commercial units in a shopping complex in Lavington, Nairobi.
  • Part of the team that provided legal services in the sale of approximately ten (10) one (1) acre serviced plots in a gated community in the leafy Karen area of Nairobi County, Kenya, by a local real estate developer.
  • Part of the team that handled the extensive due diligence in the establishment and listing of the first ever REIT in Kenya.
  • Part of the team that handled the due diligence in the transaction where the Firm represented a private entity in the negotiation of the respective documentation and eventual execution of the Agreement for the establishment of student hostels on the main campus of a leading public university in Nairobi to accommodate a minimum of 10,000 students, through public private participation (PPP) on a Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis.
