Experience
Conducting legal due diligence on companies (listed and otherwise) to advise on legal and regulatory compliance including but not limited to their corporate structure, licensing, compliance with employment and other laws such as data protection laws, and intellectual property.
Advising various clients on employment matters, including drafting and reviewing employment agreements, independent contractor agreements and human resource manuals.
Representing various clients including leading banking institutions in contentious employment matters in court.
Conducting training on employment law and data protection law.
Conducting data protection audits and supporting Clients to be compliant with the Data Protection Act, 2019.
Drafting and reviewing Company Board Charters and Terms of Reference for Board Committees.
Providing company secretarial services to various clients which includes attending Board meetings and taking minutes, preparing Board and Shareholder resolutions, filing relevant changes with the relevant authorities, and advising clients on corporate governance matters.
Drafting and reviewing various contracts including but not limited to Service Level Agreements, Insurance Brokerage Agreements, shareholders agreements, non-disclosure agreements, share subscription agreements, data processing agreements.
Commencing and defending legal actions in contentious matters, preparing and filing court documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal representation in court on behalf of our clients.
