  • Represented the Administrators of an estate in Kenya that had a dispute with its former lawyer as to the amount payable, saving the client more than KES. 103,000,000.
  • Represented a microfinance company in Kenya that had a dispute with the Kenya Revenue Authority in a dispute emanating from a demand for Excise Duty of KES 116, 780,903.
  • Represented a construction company that had a dispute with the Kenya Ports Authority and was seeking restraining orders preventing the Kenya Ports Authority from interfering with the company’s Performance Guarantee of USD 938,962. Successfully recorded consent in the matter in terms that favoured our client.
  • Represented an international nondenominational charity organization in a dispute with the Kenya Revenue Authority which resulted in the filing of a consent in which KRA withdrew its demand of KES 18,922,875.
  • Represented an international company that provides audit, tax, and advisory services on employment issues.
  • Represented a top technology company whose contract with the Ministry of Health had been terminated, which culminated in an Arbitral award in our client’s favor.
