CG Mbugua is a Partner at the Firm. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Sunderland, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. CG is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths, a Notary Public and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.

- Provision of legal advisory services for the establishment of Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) including advising on the capitalization. The company is valued at approximately US$ 350 Million.
- Provision of legal advisory services to the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company PLC (KMRC) on the issuance of an infrastructure bond which sought to raise Kshs. 13.2 billion for on lending to primary mortgage lenders.
- Provision of legal advisory services in relation to the issue of securities by a listed company by Olympia Capital.
- Provision of legal advisory services in relation to the NIC Bank Rights Issue and Subordinated Medium Term Notes Programme.
- Provision of legal advisory services in relation to the issue of Medium Term Notes by Consolidated Bank of Kenya Limited.
- Provision of legal advisory services in the issue of a public bond to be listed in the Nairobi Securities Exchange by CIC Insurance Group PLC.
